Sticky, B&B for ladies getaway weekend?

Need help finding a nice B%26amp;B or hotel for 5-10 ladies on a getaway from family weekend. We are also attending an event at the Ford Center and would like easy access. How is Judy%26#39;s? Any other B%26amp;B%26#39;s? Thank you so much!

There is a B%26amp;B in the historic area north of downtown called the Grandison. Never stayed there, so I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s what you%26#39;re looking for or not. Can say that the area is beautiful. This location would put you about 5 minutes or so from the Ford Center. Never heard of Judy%26#39;s so I can%26#39;t comment on that. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.

Judy%26#39;s Lamplighter Inn is right in the middle of an older Oklahoma City neighborhood. I%26#39;ve never been to the Inn. The area is mix of historic and non-historic homes. A nice area overall. the property looks a little small - not a large lot, but there appears to be parking available for the guests. The area is at Classen and NW 37th.

Where modcon? I live at 36th and Classen and haven%26#39;t seen it....now I%26#39;ll have to go look!

1225 NW 37th street.

escantrell,

Oh, yeah - I haven%26#39;t been by there. You might give an impression of the property if you do a drive by.

:)

I%26#39;ll drive by today....it%26#39;s in Putnam Heights, so should be nice.

You might also consider ';The Arcadian'; Bed and Breakfast in Edmond. It%26#39;s in an historic home right across the street from the University of Central Oklahoma. It%26#39;s about a 20-30 minute drive from the Ford Center. Edmond also has good restaurants - ';Ted%26#39;s'; for mexican, Cafe 501 has great sandwiches and pastries, and ';Hideaway'; for pizza. The Arcadian is also just a few blocks from historic downtown - neat shops and lots of statues to see. Have fun!

Okay....drove by Judy%26#39;s....wasn%26#39;t too impressed. It is the last house on the street, right next to an office building. The street itsself is cute, but not my idea of a retreat.

As a note, I LOVE the Arcadian, but it%26#39;s NO WHERE close to the Ford Center....for that, I%26#39;d check out the Grandison.

Grandison is definitely closer to the Ford Center:

But here is the Arcadian:
