Of course, it all depends on how you define ';decent';, and I agree that Goldie%26#39;s has good burgers, but if you want something nicer, you are probably going to have to go a little further. Utica Square is not terribly far from there (maybe 5 or 6 miles) and there are a few good restaurants there. I recommend either the Polo Grill or the Wild Fork. There are also some chains, like PF Changs and Olive Garden. In that general vicinity is also a McGill%26#39;s restaurant, for pretty good steaks and all-round menu. Downtown is a bit further away, but The Chalkboard, which is one of my Tulsa favorites, is there in the Ambassador Hotel. Two other areas to look into are the Cherry Street area (15th Street between S Lewis Ave and S Utica Ave) and Brookside (S Peoria St between E 31st St and I-44). Both these areas have several restaurants that I would define as ';decent'; and a fair amount of nightlife.

There is an Outbeak Steak House on Yale between 41st and 51st Street and a Steak and Ale on 61st Street (I think between Sheraton and Yale). Another nice restaurant is Charlestons. There are two locations. One on Peoria between 31st and 41st and another on Yale at 71st (I think). The Warren Duck Club at the Doubletree Hotel at Yale and 61st is also very nice.

Goldies is good for a local hamburger joint. We also like Peppers at Utica Square (all types of food), El Paso BBQ and there is a good Mexican resturant on Utica near the Charleston%26#39;s. For inexpensive Italian try Zio%26#39;s (two locations -- one on Lewis and one on 71st street).

I live in tulsa...so lets see...the Fairfield inn is off 71st?...so..Texas Roadhouse (awesome steaks) off 71st...Pew Wei Asian Diner is my fav! Its off 71st near Mingo. I really like The flying Roll...but that is off memorial between 41st and 51st..awesome home cooking. Good BBQ is...off Peoria called Elmers BBQ..its the best in town!..Hope this helps!
