Thanks!

In Bricktown, the Courtyard is newish, nice, near everything. But if you%26#39;re willing to go a few blocks out of Bricktown and use the shuttle bus or hike a bit farther, the Colcord and the Skirvin (both of which are old places which have been recently refurbished) are much more unique properties for not much more money.

We stayed last March at the Residence Inn right on the canal. I posted my review and a couple of pictures too.

The Skirvin and the Colcord are indeed better than the Courtyard, but the poster makes it sound like they are a good distance further away, and that%26#39;s not really accurate. All the downtown hotels are in easy walking distance to Bricktown. The only exception being if you are elderly, but there is a Trolley that runs back and forth if that%26#39;s the case. All the downtown hotels are in great condition and you really can%26#39;t go wrong w/ any of them.

Courtyard Downtown/Bricktown

Renaissance

Skirvin Hilton

Residence Inn Bricktown

Sheraton Downtown

The Colcord (boutique hotel--most expensive, but very chic)
