What kind of fish are the best in Beavers Bend--bass, crappie, trout?I have been told that trout are stocked in the river periodically. When does that happen? What varieties? What the best locations?
We will be arriving Thursday, Nov 15 and leave Sunday, Nov. 18.
Fishing
The designated trout stream is 12 miles long and holds thousands of rainbow and brown trout. The Oklahoma Fish and Game Department stocks nearly 4000 fish every other Thursday. Beavers Bend is a year round fishery located only 3 hours from Dallas/Ft. Worth.
