Nice inexpensive place to send parents?

Hi. I just got married 3 months ago and my husband and I want to send my parents somewhere for a weekend to thank them for everything they did for us for our wedding.

We want something close, within driving distance.

We%26#39;d like something very affordable... newly married with not much money!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Check into the various State Park Resorts.

Or look into a couple of nights at B%26amp;B somewhere close - either in Oklahoma or maybe even Eureka Springs.

A lot of it will depend on what your parents like to do.

The Inn at Jarrett Farm or The Price Tower in Bartlesville. Both have weekend getaway packages. Sometimes you can find last minute deals.

Also check out deals in Branson, MO. A little further drive. But you may be able to find a better deal.
