Hi,will be in oklahoma city for 3 days,whats the best area to stay in for bars and nightclubs within walking distance? Also any areas to avoid?

You probably want to stay near the Bricktown area, which is just east of downtown Oklahoma City. Look for hotels in Bricktown (there%26#39;s an almost new Courtyard) or in downtown (there%26#39;s a nice Sheraton and a nice Renaissance). But be aware that some hotels are using ';bricktown'; in their name even though they are not in Bricktown.

Just to save confusion, Rammy, the phone number Amanda gave is for the Courtyard I mentioned earlier. Courtyard is a separate chain of hotels run by Marriott.

rammy only area to stay would be bricktown...dozen restaurants and bars within walking distance...depends on the nights, but you should tryout Citywalk, which has 6 or 7 different bars inside....SkyBar for dancing, Brewery and Tapwerks for beers...My wife goes for the martinis at Drinkz....Those places should be busy from thurs-sat
