Not sure where to cruise

Hello. I%26#39;m looking for advice on planning a cruise trip and the trip advisor forum has been so helpful in the past that I hoping to make this the best cruise yet! We plan to travel in late Oct / early Nov of 2008. We%26#39;ve only cruised once. Holland America, Western Caribbean, in Nov 2003. We loved it, and want to try another cruise, but with so many options out there we aren%26#39;t sure where to start! We live in Arkansas so departing from Florida, TX, or LA is okay. it will be just the 2 of us (a vacation without the kids). We%26#39;re in our 30%26#39;s-40%26#39;s and semi adventurous (my husband more than I!) We are thinking a 7 day cruise to someplace warm... Any suggestions?

Not sure where to cruise

It really depends on what you enjoy and what you want to spend, so it%26#39;s hard to advise, (besides that, I%26#39;ve only ever been on one cruise myself) but you might check out cruisecritic.com It%26#39;s a good site for all sorts of info on cruise lines, ships, itineraries, etc. I believe that it is somehow affiliated with TripAdvisor, so you can see the same sorts of reviews, ratings, etc.

Not sure where to cruise

There is a storm in the carribbean at this time.

If you have never been to Cozumel its worth a day of sight seeing and shopping, snorkeling and enjoying local hospitality

For someplace warm this time of year that won%26#39;t bust the budget, if you give up on the cruise idea my wife %26amp; I really enjoyed visiting the Anegada Beach Hotel on Anegada Island in the British Virgin Islands. Getting there is a little expensive, but the place itself is very remote and inexpensive. Anegada is a flat Caribbean island, so no pretty mountains. It is small, very few tourist accommodations, and the island is ringed with beaches. It%26#39;s a great beach getaway, with lots and lots of easy snorkeling (you have to bring your own equipment). No nightlife (except @ the hotel -- dinner on the beach every night, great beach bar, crowd varies with whatever sailboats are in port that night), no shopping, just quiet very private beaches %26amp; snorkeling.

It would be a good to spend 4 or 5 days there, maybe break up the trip with 1 or 2 nights in Puerto Rico (changing planes there anyway) coming or going.
