Oklahoma in November

Hi folks

We are two Aussies contemplating an excursion into Oklahoma (O City, Tulsa?) this coming November. Can anyone advise what sort of weather is usually around then? (We don%26#39;t have any experience of driving in snow and would prefer to avoid getting said experience in the US!)

Thanks.

Oklahoma in November

For Oklahoma CIty (Central Oklahoma) snow should not be a problem - if it is, it will be somewhat unusual.

Temps can vary quite a bit, anywhere from a few degrees above freezing (only about a 10% chance) all the way into the mid to upper 20%26#39;s C.

The average for November is around 17C.

For Tulsa (NE Oklahoma): About the same temps as OKC with a slightly higher chance of temps below freezing (maybe 15% overall).

For SW Oklahoma: A little warmer than OKC on average with a lower chance of a freeze and even less chance of snow.

For SE Oklahoma: Even less chance of a below freezing day, and temps about the same as SW OK.

Enjoy your visit!

Thanks very much Modcon...sounds just like the weather we are having her in Canberra right now...except we need rain!

Prior to this year, Oklahoma was in a pretty long running drought. This year it%26#39;s more rain that we can easily handle, resulting in periodic flash flooding and lots of severe weather (tornadoes, large hail, etc.) with below normal temperatures seeming to dominate.

I%26#39;m expecting a VERY hot summer as a result - something akin to your summers. :)
