Girls Weekend in Tulsa

My friend and I want to go to Tulsa for a %26#39;girls%26#39; spa weekend. Any recos for spa, hotel, restaurants, shopping would be appreciated. We%26#39;re strongly considering the Ambassador. Thanks in advance!

HI!

I%26#39;ve never stayed at the Ambassador (as I live just outside of Tulsa so there%26#39;s no need) but I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s very nice.

The best shopping is Utica Square. There are lots of upscale boutiques...also Williams Sonoma, Sax, Pottery Barn, etc.

A couple of great restaurants: Mahogany and McGill%26#39;s....both have websites.

Southern Hills Spa is supposed to be very nice.

Have fun!

The Ambassador is an excellent choice for your hotel, with a good restaurant in the basement (the Chalkboard).

For a spa, try the Woodhouse Day Spa, approx. 34th %26amp; Peoria in the Brookside district.

Nearby to the Woodhouse Day Spa is some excellent shopping, don%26#39;t miss the designer clothes at Abersons. The Brookside area has several more fun shops and galleries. And for a great meal, one of Tulsa%26#39;s best restaurants, the Brasserie, is right there too.

Other funky shopping areas to try include Cherry Street (15th Street going East from Peoria). There are some fun shops all the way to Harvard. Also try the Blue Dome District %26amp; the Brady District, just North and Northeast of downtown. Both are home to some fun bars and restaurants and a few funky shops and galleries.

And if you want to go flirt with boys, try Suede Ultralounge (also in Brookside) or the Empire Bar (16th %26amp; Peoria).

Have fun!
