Where to stay for Octoberfest

Suggestions are needed for a hotel for Octoberfest. The website says there will be shuttles running from 31st and Skelly. Is there a good hotel close to there.

Is this worth a trip to Tulsa for?

Thanks

Where to stay for Octoberfest

Tulsa%26#39;s Oktoberfest is one of the largest %26amp; best outside of Germany, with several German bands flown in for the occasion. It features German food, German music and even a Carnival area for kids. During the day it is a pleasant visit; during the evening it features lots of dancing on tables, beer drinking %26amp; more of a party atmosphere. My wife %26amp; I have gone many times %26amp; always enjoy it. You can check out the official website at www.tulsaoktoberfest.org.

The website advises there will be a shuttle from the Education Service Center at 31st %26amp; New Haven. Parking on-site is a bit limited, although during the day it shouldn%26#39;t be a problem. There are a couple of ';official'; hotels with special rates; they%26#39;re probably OK and they DO feature free shuttles from the hotel to the Oktoberfest site %26amp; back--so that alone might make them worth a stay.

So yes, if you like German food, beer and German music, it is definitely a good time %26amp; worth a trip.
