Riverwalk Crossing/ Oklahoma Aquarium

Can someone tell me if Riverwalk Crossing and the Oklahoma Aquarium are within walking distance of each other? I could not tell by the websites of each one if they were both located in the same area. Also is there other things of interest around these attractions. Besides the shops and restaurants at Riverwalk. I did mapquest to see how far Riverpark was from the Crowne Plaza it said about a 20 minute drive . Does that sound about right?Thanks for any info.

Guess it is walkable, but we just drove over from the aquarium...Only thing is I don%26#39;t know if there is a walkway or anything connecting the two

15-20 minutes sounds about right from Crowne Plaza

The River Walk Crossing and the Oklahoma Aquarium are located in Jenks, OK - just south of Tulsa. They are within walking distance - I would say a 10 minute walk.

The Crowne Plaza is NOT within walking distance of the River Parks. You would have to drive to the River Parks. The River Parks run along side of Riverside Drive and begin around 11th street and run south to Jenks. You could actually walk from the River Walk Crossing over the pedestrian bridge to the southern most part of the River Parks. The parks are actually one long ';trial'; to walk, roller blade, bike, play disc golf, and there are a few kiddie play grounds as well. The River Park also has many large wildlife sculptures to view as well.

Thanks to everyone for your replies about Riverpark Crossing. It really has been a big help. After seeing the info about the Jenks Main Street area with all the shops that looks interesting too. Can anyone tell me how far the Jenks Main Street area is from the aquarium? Is it within walking distance? How many city blocks? I am needing this info about walking distance because my husband will drop us off and go back to the Tulsa area for the car shows next week. Can anyone reccomend a restuarant in the Jenks Main Street area? And since we LOVE Daylight Donuts, where would I find the closest one in the Tulsa or Jenks area? Thanks!

Main St. is about a 10-12 minute walk from the aquarium or riverwalk. Jenks is known as the antique capital of OK, so the shops are lots of fun. There are several places to eat on Main street - KFC, The Jenks Restaurant, Juanita%26#39;s (local mexican) and further west is Coney Islander, Mazzio%26#39;s Pizza, and a Daylight donut. Main Street is about a half mile or so long. Most of the shops are down on the east end. There are many nice places to eat at the riverwalk - I recommend Los Cabos (Mexican) or JooJoo Bees (sandwiches/soups), and there is also a Melting Pot (fondue) and sub place, sushi, Italian, etc. I hope you have a wonderful time in Jenks.

The aquarium is close to the Riverparks, however, I would not consider walking at night from the Riverparks to the hotel by the aquarium, it is a tiny dark road that goes under a bridge in a not too well lit area. Snakes crawl at night, and so do muggers. Be safe, drive over if you will be out after dark.
