Our Broken Bow visit at Christmas

We had a wonderful time at the State Park right before Christmas. We stayed at Lakeview Lodge, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was cold but beautiful. The water vapor coming off the lake was a pretty sight. We visited the museum in the park, ate out, went on hikes on the trails and just enjoyed the beauty of the area. We saw many deer and a large coyote while driving or hiking.

We ate at Abendigos, which was very upscale for this area, and also at El Senorial, which had excellent and inexpensive Mexican food.

For Mountain bikers and trail runners, the trails next the Lakeview Lodge were very nice and well marked. The backside is challenging (well, they were for me!)

glad you enjoyed your trip here bktx1. You need to visit in the summer. Lots of fun floating the Mountain Fork River.
